Skinning Almonds

Today I'm sharing with you a little money-saving tip I used just recently.  Ever needed skinned almonds?  Don't spend extra money to buy them.  They are super easy to skin at home. 

Just boil some water in a small pot--about 1-2 inches of water should be adequate for up to a cup of almonds.  Once the water has boiled, remove the pot from the heat and add the almonds. Let them sit for 2 minutes.  Remove the almonds.  Then just squish the skin with your fingers and out pop the almonds. No pulling or peeling; they seriously just pop out with no hassle at all.  I skinned my quarter cup of almonds in less than a minute.
